How do I share a note or summary with someone who doesn't have Vozzle?
Open the note or meeting, tap the More menu, and choose "Share via Vozzle Link." Vozzle creates a link like vozzle.app/s/<code> plus a QR code that anyone can open in any browser, with no Vozzle app or account needed. Vozzle Link sharing is available on the Starter plan and above.
Here's how
Open the More menu
On a note or meeting, tap the More (three-dot circle) menu in the top corner. Sharing isn't limited to notes — tasks and calendar events have the same option, and a meeting share carries its transcript, summary, key points, action items, and per-speaker segments.
Tap Share via Vozzle Link
Choose "Share via Vozzle Link." If the menu instead shows a disabled "Sync to share," the item hasn't reached Vozzle's servers yet — sharing builds the link from the synced copy, so let it finish syncing first.
Set an expiration
On the "Share via Vozzle" screen pick Never, 1 Hour, 1 Day, or 1 Week, then tap "Create Share Link." The link captures a snapshot of the item as it is right now — later edits in the app won't change what the recipient sees.
Copy or send the link
Show the QR code, tap copy, or use "Share Link" to send the vozzle.app/s/ address through any app. The recipient opens it in a browser with no app or account, and only needs to sign in if they want to claim a copy into their own Vozzle.
If you ever need to change an expiry or refresh the content, revoke the link first: tapping Share again on the same item just hands back the existing link unchanged, since Vozzle keeps one live link per item rather than minting a new one.
Worth knowing
- Revoke is instant and totalTapping Revoke in My Shared Items kills the link for everyone at once — anyone who reopens it now sees "Link Revoked," though people who already claimed a copy keep theirs.
- See who claimed itEach row in My Shared Items shows a live claim count, and opening the item's detail lists the names of everyone who added it to their own Vozzle, so you can tell whether a shared item actually landed.
- Bulk cleanup built inExpired and revoked links don't auto-disappear from your list, but a "Clear Revoked" action wipes all the dead ones in one tap so the list stays current.
- Events add to a calendarA shared calendar event gives the recipient an Add to Calendar button that drops it straight into their own calendar — no app or account needed.
While you're here
Does the shared link update if I edit the note later?
No. The link is a frozen snapshot taken the moment you created it, stored separately from your live item. To share your latest edits, revoke the old link and create a fresh one — that re-snapshots the current content.
Can someone without a paid plan use a link I send them?
Yes. Anyone can open the preview in a browser, and a signed-in free user can even tap "Add to My Notes" to claim their own editable copy. Creating links is the part that needs Starter or above — opening and claiming are not gated by tier.
If my data is encrypted, what exactly leaves my device when I share?
A readable copy of just that item is stored unencrypted on Vozzle's servers so the web preview works — that's why an encryption-enabled device shows a one-time "Sharing leaves the encrypted vault" gate. Everything else stays encrypted, and if you ever reset encryption all your share links are removed with it.
