What counts as AI usage?
Anything that runs a model on your content draws from your monthly AI budget: each meeting analysis (and any re-analyze), document and note generation, the Enhance pass on a transcript or note, and chat replies. A single meeting analysis bundles several steps — a summary, action items, key points — so one meeting draws more than a single action. Live transcription and translation while you talk don't draw from it; the budget is for the written AI that follows.
What happens when I hit my monthly AI budget?
AI features pause; everything else keeps working — listening, notes, tasks, calendar, sharing. Your monthly AI budget resets at the start of your next billing month, so you pick up where you left off. Or upgrade and keep going.
Is there a trial of the paid features?
Every free account gets 10 AI runs a month that work on every feature — including Travel mode and Pro-only Voice partner. Use them on real meetings. No card needed. Starter and Pro both start with a free week.
Does the Max plan use a more advanced AI model?
Yes. On Max, meeting analysis and note & document writing run on a more advanced model, where the other plans use a fast, capable one. Live transcription, chat, and voice command use the same fast model on every plan — so the upgrade shows up in written analysis and longer documents, not in speed.
Can I switch plans or move to annual billing?
Any time, through your Apple ID subscription settings. Upgrades apply immediately with Apple prorating the difference; downgrades take effect at your next renewal.
Does unused AI capacity roll over?
No — your monthly AI budget is billing-anchored: it resets at the start of each billing month, and unused budget doesn't carry over. You begin every billing month with a full allowance.
